Brandon J. Rafool

Brandon J. Rafool is admitted to practice before all Courts in the State of Florida, the United States District Court, Middle District of Florida and the Supreme Court of the United States. He was born in Augusta, Georgia. Having resided in Winter Haven, Florida since 1971, he graduated from Winter Haven High School in 1985 and the University of Florida in 1989 with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration with his major being Finance. At the University of Florida, Mr. Rafool was a member of the Alpha Tau Omega Fraternity, Spring of 1986-pledge class. He received his Juris Doctor from the Stetson University College of Law in 1992. While attending Stetson University College of Law, Mr. Rafool sat as a Justice on the Honor Court.

He is a Life Member of the National Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers (NACDL), Florida Association of Criminal Defense Lawyers, Polk County Criminal Defense Lawyers, American Bar Association, Polk County Family Lawyers Association, and Polk County Trial Lawyers Association. He has served on the Florida Bar's Tenth Circuit Grievance Committee from 2008 to 2011, and was the Chairman of this Committee the last year he served.

Jacquelyn M. Codd

Jacquelyn Codd was born in San Antonio, Texas, and resided in Texas for five years prior to moving to Florida. She is currently practicing in the areas of Civil Litigation, Real Estate, Construction, Contract Formation & Disputes, and Estate Planning, Probate, and Guardianship. Ms. Codd is an associate attorney at The Rafool Firm. She received her Bachelor of Science in Legal Studies from the University of Central Florida in 2015, and received her Juris Doctorate from Stetson University College of Law in 2018. During her education, she spent the seven years clerking in various areas of law to gain experience working primarily under Ed Morrell in Construction Litigation and Former Candidate for Attorney General, Ryan Torrens, in Foreclosure Defense. After law school, she worked as Director of Human Resources & Compliance for a marketing firm in Tampa, FL. She believes law is best practiced through active listening, so she is always willing to take the time to ensure you are heard in order to resolve your matter in the most efficient and personally correct manner possible.
